Aims and objectives

The basic objectives of the Jamiat are as follow:

  1. To equip the Muslim societies with the teachings of Islam, the guidance of the Holy Qur’an and the Sunnah, and the making of the life of the prophet, thus helping them to model their lives the lines of the way of the prophet and his blessed companions.
  2. To serve the community in Educational, Medical, Technical and welfare fields.
  3. To provide the translation of the Holy Qur’an and authentic ahadith to the public in general.
  4. To develop and strengthen the sense of fraternity, brotherhood and love within the Muslim community. To purge the Muslim society of superstitious thoughts, concepts, un-Islamic practices and paganistic customs which have unfortunately gained foothold into the general design of the lives of Muslims.
  5. To make explicit the place of importance held by Mosque in Islam, their proper use, the message and the role they play in a Muslim’s life both on individual and collective levels. To create an acute awareness in the Muslims at large of the outstanding importance of the Masjids in the Islamic scheme of things.
  6. To bring about unity among constructive religious ideologies within the student community of Islamic Madrasas and those of modern schools, colleges and universities. And to remove the gulf and antipathy between Ulema (Muslim clerics) and modern educated class.
  7. To revive the educational and religious urge in general muslim and to apprise them of the perils looming larg at their heads.
  8. To awaken the Muslim community to the importance of Darul Qaza and Baitul Mal suggesting viable practical forms of it.
  9. To make them conscious of their religious commitments and refresh their Islamic Sprit.
