![]() Jamia Syed Ahmad Irfan Al-Shaheed
In the thirteenth century, when the Mugal Empire was declining, Muslims were losing their spiritual power and adopting non-Islamic beliefs and customs. It seemed that they would perish in a period of time. In the meantime an Islamic hero with Islamic spirit, faith and courage came to the sight who called Muslims to the way of Allah, reminded them their responsibility towards Islam and Muslims. He trained people and prepared a big team of his followers who repeated the history of revival and reformation. He fought with British to make his native land India free and independent. He got his aim, martyrdom and left his footprints for the coming generations. This towering personality was a great freedom fighter and reformist, known in the history as Syed Ahmad Shaheed Rae Barelwi (R.A).
The Jamia has been named after that Islamic hero to revive his reformation and revival movement. it is hoped that the Jamia would meet a great need of Muslims and bring sweet fruits in the days to come. It is hoped that Muslims would appreciate the Jamia and support it with every possible means. |
